A Farewell Journey

Image
I am ready to embark on a trip to South Jersey. My Father, Wilmer V. Dunham, recently passed away, so it is likely my last visit out there. I still have ideas for a history piece on Bivalve and Shellpile, NJ, but it seems I will not really have enough time to do research while I'm there. Perhaps another reason to return? I will need to look through old newspapers on microfilm to find what I need, and it hasn't been digitized yet. I will work on a shorter piece with the information and photos I have, sometime after I get back. Bivalve, NJ I will also be visiting with two of my Stepmothers, and will be recording audio and video for use in some other projects I am working on. Some of that will likely end up on my other blog,  Born Under Punches . I will be spending some time in my former hometown of Millville, New Jersey, so stay tuned for videos, photos, and writings about there as well. Fishing boat used as home for mill workers. Millville, NJ.  1920's, I believe. ...
